We are a full service general contractor that handles all phase of a job from residential to light commercial work.
Some history about us
James Crannie started the company in 1959 specializing in insurance repairs of all kinds. Some of which are fire, wind, water & other such disasters. We have always been in the insurance repair industry. Dean Henry, his son in law took over the company in 1991, & while stayed active in the insurance side, took the company in a different direction with the building of new homes. Starting in 1993 we have built over 100 new homes in Genesee & surrounding counties to date. We have even built for the same customers multiple homes. Dean has had his builder license since 1986 & is also a State of Michigan licensed building inspector.
Together this has allowed us the opportunity to help many home owners that have damage to their home repair it to today’s standards & codes. This makes the home safer & stronger that before.
Crannie Construction will work as a full service general contractor for your new custom home. Thinking of doing some of the work yourself. No problem! Crannie Construction can handle any portion of your project including rough framing, roofing, and siding. We can even shell in the project & then let you take over. We also will work with you to provide guidance through your project no matter how big or small.
Crannie Construction also does kitchen & bath remodel to fit your budget
Crannie Construction also builds garages, pole barns.
